R&D and Knowledge Management

Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo set up its Research & Development (R&D) Department in 2016 at its Naples office.

The R&D and Knowledge Management Department supervises the work of the 11 offices of the Firm, managing, on a daily basis:

  • the KM software developed by the Firm since 2005;
  • the sharing of knowledge and skills between lawyers and consultants, who can make full use of them within the Firm.

In addition, the R&D Department manages all the publications and editorial activities of the Firm, as well as its internal training programme.

The Naples office is a place of excellence when it comes to knowledge. The establishment of the R&D Department was a very important step which was part of a review process carried out on the entire internal organisation, the ultimate goal of which was to make the Firm increasingly efficient for the benefit of its Clients.


Quality Culture

By virtue of an efficient internal organisation, based upon written consolidated procedures that codify and standardise the production flow at all levels, the Firm’s ten offices in Milan, Rome, Naples, Bergamo, Brescia, Bologna, Genoa, Varese, Bari, Turin and Venice adopt and implement the same processes and standards.

To ensure high and consistent quality standards in the performance of its services, the Firm has developed a structured internal training and evaluation system for trainees and lawyers in order to ensure that knowledge is kept up-to-date, shared and uniform.

The Firm’s lawyers and consultants also participate in dedicated secondment programmes with Clients and other firms that are members of the Ius Laboris Alliance.
