With a notice published on its website on 10 April, the Ministry of Labour announced that the deadline for submitting the 2022-2023 Biennial Report has been postponed from 30 April to 15 July 2024.
We remind you that, pursuant to Article 46 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 198/2006, companies with more than 50 employees must draw up a report on the situation of male and female employees every two years and send it to the Ministry of Labour, the Works Councils, the Regional Equality Councillor and the President of the Council of Ministers Department of Equal Opportunities.
The Report must be compiled exclusively online, filling in the form published on the Ministry portal, accessible here https://servizi.lavoro.gov.it. In order to simplify this procedure, the relevant app is currently under revision and the portal will be accessible again from 3 June 2024. The compilation methods detailed in the Interministerial Decree of 29 March 2022 are confirmed.
Failure to compile, erroneous or incomplete compilation of the Report will entail specific administrative fines.
The notice specifies that companies wishing to participate in public procedures that require submission of the biennial report may produce a copy of the one already submitted for the two-year period 2020/2021, integrating the documentation with the 2022/2023 report, again by 15 July.
Whereas 30 April 2024 is still the deadline to apply for exemption from social security contributions (1% of the employer’s social security contribution, up to a maximum of €50,000 a year), reserved for companies that, by 31 December 2023, have obtained gender equality certification. This tax relief must be applied for using the special ‘SGRAVIO PAR_GEN_2023’ form at www.inps.it, in the “Portale delle Agevolazioni” (Facilitation Portal) section.
