Biennial Report: new extension

Last Updated on July 4, 2024

On 3 July 2024, the Italian Ministry of Labour published a notice on its website announcing that the deadline for submitting the Biennial Report 2022-2023 is now set as 20 September 2024.

We remind you that, pursuant to Article 46 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 198/2006, companies with more than 50 employees must draw up a report on the situation of male and female employees every two years and send it to the Ministry of Labour and the company union representatives.

The Report is to be drawn up using the computer application available on the ministerial portal in accordance with the procedures set out, most recently, in the Interministerial Decree of 3 June 2024 (see our newsflash of 7 June 2024 ‘Gender equality: Biennial Reports can now be submitted‘).

Failure to compile, erroneous or incomplete compilation of the Report will incur specific administrative fines.
